I have always loved photography because it asks for the simplest hard thing: pay attention.
The world moves fast, but the best images are usually found in the quiet gaps. A pool of light on wet pavement. A stretch of sky above a roofline. A face in a window. A moment that would have been forgotten if you had not noticed it in time.
